Kinvault is a secure online place for the information families will one day need most. It brings together documents, contacts and practical details, so that when something happens, people are not left guessing.

We work with banks, wealth managers, adviser firms and workplace providers to help them support customers in life and at bereavement. Our aim is to facilitate more care and less chaos.

Where Kinvault came from

Our founders and team saw, time and again, how families struggled to find information after a death, and how even the best-intentioned institutions were held back by fragmented processes and old systems. Important accounts were missed, paperwork went astray and families often had to do the detective work themselves. We built Kinvault to change that.

Empathy and practicality: Bereavement, illness and financial strain are human experiences long before they are events in a system. We designed Kinvault to be clear, calm and practical for families and to help institutions respond in ways that feel genuinely supportive, not transactional.
Partnership with institutions: Kinvault is offered through trusted organisations. That means everything we build has to work in the real world of banks, wealth managers and advisers: complex estates, legacy systems, regulatory scrutiny and people under pressure.
Security by design: We treat the information in Kinvault with the same care you would expect from a financial institution. The platform is cloud-hosted in the UK, protected with strong encryption and access controls, and independently accredited to UK government cyber standards.
